Invoicing without a subscription
Most invoicing software is sold monthly and built for a business with recurring clients, inventory and an accountant. A freelancer sending four invoices a month does not need that, and paying a subscription to send four PDFs is poor value.
This creates invoices on the phone and produces a PDF you can send. No account, no monthly fee, and your client list is not stored on somebody else's server.
What a usable invoice has to contain
Requirements vary by country, and if you are registered for sales tax the rules are specific — so check what applies where you are. Some items are near-universal, though, and missing them is the usual cause of an invoice being queried or paid late:
A unique invoice number, so both sides can reference it. The issue date, and separately the payment due date or terms. Your full business name and address, and your client's. A clear line-by-line description of what is being billed. The amount, and any tax shown as its own line rather than folded into the total. And your payment details, which is the field people most often forget and which is the one thing the client actually needs in order to pay you.
Working offline
Because invoices are generated locally, you can raise one on a client's site, on a train, or anywhere with no signal, and send it when you next have a connection. Your business and client records stay on the device.

Is there a subscription?
No. The app generates invoices on your device without an account or a recurring fee, which is the point — a subscription is poor value for anyone sending a handful of invoices a month.
What should every invoice include?
A unique invoice number, the issue date and payment terms, your business details and the client's, an itemised description, the amount with any tax shown separately, and your payment details. Specific legal requirements depend on your country, particularly if you are registered for sales tax.
Where is my client data stored?
On your device. There is no server-side copy, no account, and no sync, so your client list and billing history are not held anywhere you do not control.
Can I create an invoice with no internet connection?
Yes. Generation and PDF export are entirely local, so you can raise an invoice on site or in transit and send it whenever you next have a connection.
