Who we are

NDT Studio is a one-person software studio based in Hanoi, Vietnam, run by developer Nhu Dinh Tao. It has been publishing mobile apps continuously since 2012 — first on Google Play, later on the App Store — and the catalogue has grown to more than sixty titles used by over ten million people.

There is no team, no investors, and no growth target. Apps get built because they are useful, and they get maintained because people rely on them.

What we build

The catalogue splits into two halves:

Why offline matters

Every dictionary we publish works with the plane in airplane mode. That is a deliberate constraint, and it shapes the whole catalogue:

About this blog

We write about practical language learning — studying Japanese through anime and manga, learning Korean through music, getting more out of an offline dictionary — plus guides and release notes for our own apps.

A note on our archive. Through the first half of 2026 a large part of this blog was produced from article templates. That content did not meet the standard we want for readers, and in August 2026 we removed it. What remains is written by hand, and that is how we intend to keep it.

Where to find our apps

Contact

Bug reports, feature requests, dictionary corrections and licensing questions all go to the same place: support@ndtstudio.com, or through the support form. Messages are read by the person who wrote the app.

Corrections to dictionary entries are especially welcome — for the smaller languages in the catalogue, reader corrections are often the best source we have.
